Suspect Arrested in May 2011 Red Hook Robbery

St. Thomas police on Friday arrested Gregorie George Jr., 34, and charged him with first degree robbery for allegedly holding up Jack Pots Java in Red Hook last May.

George was also charged with using a dangerous weapon during the commission of a crime of violence, first degree assault, grand larceny and unauthorized possession of an unlicensed firearm.

George’s bail was set at $50,000 at the time of his arrest, and he was remanded to the custody of the Bureau of Corrections pending further court action.
