Practice for Beach-to-Beach Power Swim Set for April 29

Join Friends of Virgin Islands National Park on Sunday, April 29, for the second practice swim before the big race. Meet at Maho Bay beach at 8:30 a.m. and swim the short course portion of the race to Cinnamon (approximately 1 mile), or intermediate course to Trunk (approximately 2.25 miles). Swim assisted (with fins, mask, snorkel) or swim unassisted. Safety boats will be in the water for support.
There is plenty of time to take the 7:30 a.m. ferry for St. Thomians. If you let Friends of V.I. National Park know you are coming, we will pick you up at the ferry dock. E-mail Heather at hruhsam@friendsvinp.org or call 779-4940.
One final practice swim will be offered on Sunday May 13th (Maho to Cinnamon, Trunk or Hawksnest), at 8:30 am. The race itself will be held at 8 a.m. on Sunday, May 27. Registration is now open. Go to www.friendsvinp.org/swim or call 779-4940 for more details or to register.
