Brief: St. Thomas Man Convicted for J'ouvert Stabbing

A St. Thomas man recently convicted for a stabbing after last year's J'ouvert celebrations is now facing up to 20 years in prison and a $13,000 fine.
A jury found Rudette Christopher guilty last week of stabbing Curtis John-Jules at least once in the chest with an ice pick after the two got into a physical fight at the Carnival Village.
Christopher was found guilty of one count each of third-degree assault and using a dangerous weapon during the commission of a crime of violence.
