Cancer Support V.I. Presents Qi Gong Master

March 23, 2009 - Cancer Support VI will host a free presentation by Tina Zhang, Chinese Qi Gong master from New York. Zhang will present an introduction to traditional Chinese medical Qi Gong exercise, explaining how it can strengthen the body and mind. It can also be used as an additional support treatment from the traditional Chinese medicine point of view to build up a stronger immune system, benefiting both those who are ill and the healthy. She will lead attendants in some simple Qi Gong exercise. No space will be required; people can stand-up next to their chair.
These free lectures will be held twice: at noon, on Wednesday, April 1, at the Kimelman Cancer Institute, Benjamin Medical Auditorium; and at 7 p.m., at Antilles School in the Mark Marin Center (in the Children's Activity room on the first floor near the back entrance).
The mission of Cancer Support VI is to provide support, education, information and assistance to people living with cancer and their families and friends.
