The Source Wants Prospective Delegates to Tell Readers Their Goals for the Constitutional Convention

Will the territory finally get a constitution, or will the Revised Organic Act of 1954 stand for another 50 years? Is change in the air at last, or will the effort to create a constitution fail as it has four times before?
A diverse group of 123 candidates will go up for election June 12, vying for a total of 26 seats to the convention -- 13 from the St. Croix district, 13 from the St. Thomas/St. John district. The Source is asking all 123 of them to tell our readers their agenda going into the convention. The goals they have for a constitution. What issues are most important to them.
Delegate candidates have an opportunity here to let voters know where they stand, to give voters a reason to pick one candidate over another in a crowded field. Candidates are asked to limit their responses to 500 words. Submissions will be published without any editing, and submissions in all capital letters will not be published.
Prospective delegates may make their submissions by emailing the Source.
