Senate Passes Court, Elections Unification

New Gun Law: Register Guns at Port of Entry

Anyone bringing a firearm into the territory will be required by law to immediately register it with the V.I. government at the port of entry. Failure to register will be a felony, as it is now.

Army National Guard Pfc. Leonaldo Garray/St. Croix
    April 5, 2012 (Defense Media Activity) -- Army National Guard Pfc. Leonaldo Garray has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C.
    During the nine weeks of training, the soldier studied the Army mission, history, tradition and core values, physical fitness and received instruction and practice in basic combat skills, military weapons, chemical warfare and bayonet training, drill and ceremony, marching, rifle marksmanship, armed and unarmed combat, map reading, field tactics, military courtesy, military justice system, basic first aid, foot marches and field training exercises.
    Garray is the son of Pauline Garray of Christiansted, St. Croix.
    He is a 1992 graduate of St. Croix Central High School, Kingshill.
