Deaths — St. Thomas
Joan Delores Forbes Dies at 73

 Joan Delores Forbes died on Jan. 25. Born in Brooklyn New York on July 7, 1938, she was 73 years old.

Joan was a retired, self-employed beautician. She was the widow of the late Wade Forbes.
She is survived by her son, Jeffery Carty Sr.; daughter-in-law, Linda; grandchildren, Jeffrey Carty Jr. and Leanna Carrington; a great-grandchild, Ju'Naisha Carty; brother, George Mcnulty; and two nieces.  Since living on St Thomas, Virgin Islands, Joan had become very good friends with Barb Kenny, Beverly Barney, Eddie Greaux, Helen Hart, Noreen Bryan, Florence Richardson, Marie LaPlace and Darlene Willard.
Funeral arrangements are by the John Thomas Memorial Chapel. The family wishes that funeral services remain private.
