Innovative Provides Telephone Directory Recycling Sites

At the start of each year, Innovative Telephone directories are mailed to business and residential customers throughout the U.S. Virgin Islands. Telephone directories are also available at the Innovative Business Offices at Tutu Park on St. Thomas; Starfish Market Place on St. John and Estate Diamond on St. Croix. The public is encouraged to visit those convenient locations to obtain additional directories if necessary.
In 2013, Innovative will provide even more options for the distribution and recovery of directories. This year, in an effort to support recycling throughout the territory, Innovative is providing a recycling bin at its primary business office locations for customers who wish to discard their outdated directories. Effective Jan. 14, Innovative will have a permanent directory recycling bin in the parking lot of the business office at Tutu Park and the business office at Estate Diamond.
Customers will have access to the bins between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. on weekdays, and the bins are solely for recycling discarded telephone directories.
Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Customer Experience Michael D. Soileau Sr. said, “Innovative is pleased to be able to provide relief to our community by providing an outlet for last year’s telephone directories while ensuring that we are able to recycle and improve our environment.”
This initiative is the first in a series of recycling and energy-saving initiatives that the company intends to introduce throughout the year.
“We are very excited about this recycling effort, and we trust that our customers will take advantage of this opportunity,” said Soileau.
