Ritz-Carlton, St. Thomas Appoints Stephen Power New Director of Food and Beverage

Stephen Power has been appointed Director of Food and Beverage at The Ritz-Carlton, St. Thomas where he will oversee all dining venues, room service, catering and culinary events, as well as enhance the resort’s renowned culinary offerings.
 “It is with great pleasure that I welcome Stephen to our resort,” said Bernd Kuhlen, general manager. “He brings a wealth of culinary knowledge and expertise to the table, and we are confident he will take the already extraordinary dining experience at The Ritz-Carlton, St. Thomas to the next level,” added Kuhlen.
Power comes to The Ritz-Carlton, St. Thomas from the Renaissance Downtown Washington, D.C., where he served as director of restaurants for the 807-room hotel with six dining outlets. Prior to that, he was the director of restaurants at the Marina del Ray Marriott. His extensive food and beverage background also includes stints at hotels in St. Louis, Mo., Westchester, N.Y., and being on the opening team for five franchise hotels including the JW Marriott L.A. LIVE.
“I am thrilled to join an exceptional team of ladies and gentlemen at an award-winning property in St. Thomas,” said Stephen Power. “I look forward to continuing the resort’s distinguished reputation and enhancing the culinary offering for a truly unique guest experience.”
