WORKPLACE CONFLICT SEMINAR DEC. 4

Resolving Conflicts and Preventing Workplace Violence –
A Legal and Practical Seminar

Dec. 4 – Tamarind Reef Conference Center, St. Croix

On Thursday , December 4, 2003, The Human Resource Association of St. Criox in conjunction with the Ogletree Deakins Law Firm will present a one-day workshop at the Tamarind Reef Conference Center on St. Croix. Attorney Charles Engeman of Ogletree will open the day with an update on recent changes to V.I. Labor and Employment Law, with special attention paid to th Wrongful Discharge Act and the status of arbitration agreements and their use in the territory. Tom Tyne, Ph.D. will present an in-depth session on conflict resolution. There will also be a session on how to prevent violence in the workplace. Additionally, a segment on preventing a responding to claims of sexual harassment will be given.
