Pistarckle Presents Samuel Beckett’s “Happy Days”

Pistarckle Theater presents “Happy Days” by Samuel Beckett. Performance will be at 8 p.m. on Thursday through Saturday, July 28, 29 and 30, and Friday and Saturday, Aug. 5 and 6.
Winnie is trapped in the life she has made for herself, but regardless of the trials and tribulations she must endure, she is determined to make this one of her happy days.  Her lifetime partner, Willie, is there by her side to comfort and help her when he can.   Through Winnie, we experience the joys and sorrows, the successes and regrets of her life.
One of the world’s most renowned playwrights, Samuel Beckett, “pursues his relentless search for the meaning of existence, probing the tenuous relationships that bind one person to another and each to the universe, to time past and present.”  Pistarkle’s Nicola Barthen Emerich gives a tour d’force performance of a lifetime that’s not to be missed.
Tickets can be purchased on line at PistarckleTheater.com or by calling the box office at 775-7877.
