Haiti Photography Exhibit Opens at Seven Minus Seven

'Haiti Before the Quake' by John Cahill“Haiti: Before the Quake,” a photo exhibition by John Cahill, will open on Friday, June 11, at Seven Minus Seven Gallery in Sub Base. The public is invited. Cahill, a Julliard-trained classical musician and teacher at CAHS for more than 29-years, has spent several summers teaching music in the La Chapelle Evangelique de Delmas music program.

“I had never worked so hard, been so hot and tired, or been more isolated from everyone I knew. Yet, I felt wonderful. Words like warmth, respect and affection don’t really express all that I experienced.”
An avid photographer, Cahill recorded many scenes from life in Haiti that touched his heart. “And now…after the quake, all this is gone,” he said.
All donations and sales from the show will go directly to Haitian relief efforts.
