Final Battle of the Bands Raises Funds for the Community Foundation

Finalists for the Battle of the Bands competition include local favorites: the Tim West Band, Brian Dean, Web Fingors and Jon Gazi-West Lindy. They have donated their time and talents to support the Community Foundation of the Virgin Islands, and now it is time to choose one winner. They are competing for the first place win of $2,000 plus prizes. Each finalist will play for a 45 minute set beginning at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 22, at Big Bamboo.  It’s free and the first 50 guests will get a free Presidente. There will be food and Happy Hour drink specials all night while performers entertain. Come and vote for your favorite band.
Fundraising for the Community Foundation will continue throughout the night and there will be a 50/50 cash prize raffle. A 7 Night Resort Stay Escape Vacation and many other prizes have all been donated by local businesses on St. Thomas and St. John.
The Community Foundation's "primary goal is to build a collection of
permanent funds, which will be used to enhance the educational, physical, social, cultural and environmental well-being of the children, youth and families of the Virgin Islands."
