What's Up Next on the Doug Lewis Show

March 6, 2007 - Tune into the Doug Lewis Show on WVGN 107.3 FM from 1 to 3 p.m., Sunday, March 11. This Sunday we will feature music by Frank Sinatra, Jerry Harris, Darden Smith, the Billy Gibson Band, the Big Happy and more. (Remember that the Doug Lewis Show has a time change this coming Sunday as Daylight Savings Time begins. It will now air from 1-3 p.m.)
The Modern Music Feature CD is "Romance Songs From the Heart" by Frank Sinatra. This CD features a collection of classic romantic songs from Sinatra's tenure at Capitol Records. It is the perfect CD for a candlelight dinner with a bottle of fine wine.
The Indie Spotlight CD is the new release from local jazz vocalist Jerry Harris. It is titled "Things to Come" and is a wonderful collection of fine vocals from Jerry including his take on the Beatles' "Eleanor Rigby" and the title tune from the film noir classic "Laura."
Tune in for a second chance to win two tickets to see Sara Hickman in concert at Tillett Gardens on March 14.
We will play new music from Blackie and the Rodeo Kings, Nick Moss and the Flip Tops, Mad Agnes, Rickie Lee Jones and more.

We also include music from the Big Happy, who are touring in the Virgin Islands throughout the month of March and from Danny Morris, who will be performing on St. John during the week of the Blues Festival . We will play music from Sara Hickman, who will be performing at Tillett Gardens on St. Thomas on March 14, as well as music from Sara's backup vocalist Kristen DeWitt. We also play music from the Billy Gibson Band and Joey Gilmore, who are performing at the St. John Blues Festival. We also include music from Dave Gerard, who returns for a V.I. tour from March 16-25.
