Coastal Zone Management Meeting Dec. 11

Commissioner Jean-Pierre L. Oriol of the Department of Planning and Natural Resources informs theĀ public that the following St. Croix Coastal Zone Management (CZM) Committee meeting is scheduledĀ for Wednesday, Dec. 11 at 5:30 p.m.

This meeting will be held via the video conferencingĀ platform Zoom.
The agenda is as follows:
Decision Meetings (public testimony will not be heard)Ā Federal Consistency Determination, CZM0019-24, Virgin Islands Police Department-PatrickĀ Sweeney Headquarters Demolition & Rebuild. The project proposes a new state of the art, one story,Ā 22,000 SF administrative complex to be constructed to consolidate all the current and futureĀ programmatic needs for the VIPD. The new facility will have a significant increase in the squareĀ footage over the previous facility. The project is located at 1 & 1A Golden Grove, Christiansted, St.
Croix, VI 00820.

Federal Consistency Determination, CZM0018-24- Virgin Islands Judiciary-.H. Amphlett LeaderĀ Justice Center. The project is proposing a partial demolition of interior offices, install a retrofittedĀ roof system over the existing roof, construct (2) ADA bathrooms, build out an employee lounge,Ā redesign administrative offices and construct an exterior concrete swale. The project is located at No.Ā 1 Kingshill Hall of Justice, St. Croix, VI 00850.
