Division of Personnel, CIGNA and GESC to Distribute Produce at Wellness Expo Events

The Division of Personnel in collaboration with the GESC Health Insurance Board, CIGNA, and local farmers will be distributing produce to eligible participants of the 2024 Virtual Annual Health and Wellness Expo. Eligible participants must bring their ID to verify eligibility. The distribution is scheduled for the following dates:

  • St. Croix: September 16, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., at D.C. Canegata Ballpark
  • St. John: September 19, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., at Franklin Powell Sr. Park — Gazebo
  • St. Thomas: September 20, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., at Emile Griffith Ballpark – Parking Lot

Parking Notice

The Emile Griffith parking lot will be designated as a No Parking Zone for the duration of the produce distribution event. This area will be fully utilized for the event activities, including the setup and distribution of produce; therefore, the organizers ask that all vehicles be removed from the lot to ensure smooth operations and ample space for the event. They apologize for any inconvenience.

Traffic Restrictions

  • St. Croix: Eastbound traffic will be rerouted towards Gallows Bay. For westbound traffic, please take an alternate route to or from the east end, as traffic will be rerouted towards Gallows Bay.

Office Closure

  • September 16, the Division of Personnel’s St. Croix office will be closed as staff assists with produce distribution.
  • September 20, the Group Health Insurance team on St. Thomas will be unavailable because they are assisting with the produce distribution.
