Sunday Last Day Waste Management Authority Taking Ernesto’s Green Waste

The Virgin Islands Waste Management Authority would like to inform the community that green waste from Tropical Storm Ernesto, will no longer be accepted at the Bovoni Landfill effective Sunday, Dec. 8.
Green waste includes bush trimmings, branches, tree trunks, and stumps no larger than four feet, leaves, plants, and grass clippings.
Residents and businesses are advised to hold onto their green waste or consider alternative methods such as mulching and composting until further notice. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
