Isabell Evans Zapletal Dies at 65

Isabell Evans Zapletal Isabell Evans Zapletal, also known as "Ms. Zap," of Little Princesse died on Feb. 28 at the Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital. She was 65 years old.
She is survived by her daughter, Kristisha Zapletal; son, Zdenek Zapletal; grandchildren: Zavaughn Zapletal, Nickhai Schuster and Enrique Schuster Jr.; daughter-in-law, Abigail Quinones-Zapletal; son-in-law: Enrique Schuster Sr.; sister, Severina Evans Plaskett; brothers: Gerald Evans, Malcolm Evans and Andrew Evans; sisters-in-law: ASta M. Evans and Providencia Evans; nieces: Sylvia Santos-Butcher, Angela Morales, Eugenie Santos, Carmen Lang, Valencia Andrews, Patricia, Maxine Wells, Vonetta Norman Esq., Elise Evans and Kim Evans; nephews: Victor Plaskett Jr., Kevin Plaskett, Geoffrey Plaskett, Gerald Evans Jr. Gregory Evans, Gary Evans and Johnatan Evans; and great nieces: Akida Roebuck, Nicole Newton, Ayesha Plaskett, Danica Plaskett, Kyleia Plaskett, Rukiya Andrews, Keshia Shillingford, Rosalyn Morales, Rosalind Estrill, Rosalinda Brown, Ayisha Evans Manning, Ellery Evans and Sasha Evans.

She is also survived by great nephews: Harold Roebuck III, Andre Lang, Nick Lang, Lionel Hendricks, Achim Plaskett, Asheem Plaskett, Jason De Lugo and Garvin Evans; special friends: Rosie Mackay Luis Llanos and family, Judith Gadd, Lydia Moolenaar, Amal Hamed, Mona Yusuf, Patricia Cabral, Rosemary Gribbin, Chearoll Looby, Debra Franklin-Maragh, Gail Harris-Perez, Sonia Dowe, Janice Lee, Joycelyn Ryan, Angelica Schuster, Manuela Morales, Elsa George, Kai Schjang, Renee Blakey, Lisa Bough, Wendy Garcia, the Encarnacion family, the Llanos family, Brunilda Ramos and family, Florette Begraff, Floyd Henderson, Ceci O’Neill-Prasad and Cachet Williams; cousins and other relatives: Arlene Evans O’Reilly, Felia Rampersad, Rodney Rampersad, Patricia Evans, the McIntosh family, Kathleen Matarangas-King and family, the Quinones family, the Petrus family, the Rivers family, the Schjang family, Rafael Hall Sr. and family, the Llanos family, Daphne Andrews and family, Providencia Evans, Ettiene Derricks and family, Asta Evans, Luis Llanos, Norm Pickard, Agnes Shanderson, Claire Hendricks, Lionel Skeet, June Adams and family, Cherise Krigger and family, and Herlene James and family ; and other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.

A viewing will take place at 9:30 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, March 15, at Holy Cross Catholic Church. Interment will be at Christiansted Cemetery.
