Benjamin W. Edwards, better known as “Benji,” died on Aug. 16.
He is survived by his wife, Georgia Edwards; sons: Brea’don Edwards and Brandon Edwards; daughter, Joyce Edwards; brothers: Justin Edwards and Andra Edwards; sisters: Theresa Edwards, Lucy Anthony, Veronica Alexander and Annie Mondesire; niece: Vincia Thomas-Albert, Feara Alexander-Lawrence, Corinthia Joseph, Shernele Edwards, Sherley Mondesire, Agnes Noel, Sandra Henderson, Joan Bruno, Hyacinth Edwards, Kishma Edwards and Christy Edwards; grandchildren:Theresa, Terry and Jerica Edwards; and nephews: Matthew Mondersire, Mark Mondersire, William Mondersire, John Coipel, Ray Edwards, Curt Henderson, Jeff Anthony, Troy Anthony, Eurstin Edwards, Albert Gabriel, Mohinda Alexander and Desmond Alexander.
There will be a first viewing from 5-7 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 5, at Turnbull’s Funeral Home. A second viewing will take place at 11 a.m. followed by a service at noon on Tuesday, Sept. 6, at First Pentecostal Church, Donoe Bypass. He will be buried in Smith Bay, Eastern Cemetery.
