St. Croix School District Slates Back to School Conference

The second annual Back to School Conference will take place at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 29, at the St. Croix Educational Complex auditorium. The keynote speakers will include dynamic television personality Judge Glenda Hatchett. Other presenters will be Byron Garrett, the national Parent-Teacher’s Association (P.T.A.) CEO, and V.I. Superior Court Judge Darryl Donohue.

St. Croix District Superintendent Gary Molloy invites parents, school personnel, community organizations, students and other community stakeholders to attend and learn more about the role of parental involvement in education, and the impact education has in the lives of children and the community.
The first 100 participants registering at the conference will receive a free copy of the video “Gangs in Paradise.” Judge Hatchett, author of “Dare to Take Charge: How to Live Your Life On Purpose,” and PTA CEO Garrett, author of “ABC’s of Life,” will autograph their books upon purchase.
The conference is coordinated by Janet Brow of the School and Community Relations office. For more information, contact Brow at 773-1095, ext. 7094.
