The Family Resource Center’s Family and Youth Crisis Intervention Programis holding registration for its “Rites of Passage” component. The Program, funded by the Department of Human Services, is free but space is limited.
Family Resource Center Offers ‘Rites of Passage’ for Boys
Rites of Passageis currently accepting registration from parents who have sons, 9 to 12 years-old. It will be offering free field trips, tai-chi, computer literacy, social development/socialization skills, cultural literacy and ecological art. Theclasses will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and will be held every Saturday beginning Jan. 23, 2010, and ending May 8, 2010, when there will be a closing ceremony. Lunch and snacks will be provided.
