UVI’s Anti-Money Laundering Seminar

University of the Virgin Islands Institute for Leadership and Organizational Effectiveness

The University of the Virgin Islands Institute for Leadership and Organizational Effectiveness (ILOE), in association with ComplianceAid, has announced a one-day seminar called “Anti-Money Laundering and Financial Crimes” (AMLFC). The AMLFC Seminar will provide practical guidance to assist in safeguarding an institution with proper Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Countering the Financing of Terrorism (CFT) and Financial Crimes Prevention (FCP) measures.

Main Street Project Meeting Rescheduled

THE MAIN STREET PROJECT MEETING ORIGINALLY SCHEDULED FOR AUG. 16 HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED BY THE OFFICE OF THE GOVERNOR FOR TODAY. The office of the Governor invites all Main Street merchants to a meeting. All merchants will have an opportunity to ask questions, and Gov. Mapp will provide a status report on the Main Street Project. Come with innovative ideas, that will be developed into tangible solutions and opportunities that will enhance the quality of life in the community.
