University of the Virgin Islands Cooperative Extension Service (UVI-CES) will begin its 3-Day World Food Day observance with a “Hunger Banquet.” (9 a.m. to 1 p.m.) The banquet is open to fourth through ninth graders, representatives from the Department of Education and other community leaders. The following two days will have many events and activities concerning World Hunger. (Oct. 19 and 20)
