Senate: Committee of the Whole

The Thirty-Third Legislature will convene in a Committee of the Whole Hearing to receive testimony on the following Coastal Zone Permits, zoning requests and conveyance of real property from the Virgin Islands Port Authority to the Department of Planning and Natural Resources:

Minor Coastal Zone Management Permit No. CZT-46-19W (Wyndham Bluebeard’s Beach Club) — The subject permit allows for the installation of a new seawater intake line extending 200 feet offshore into 10 feet of water.

Major Coastal Zone Management Permit No. CZX-21-17W (LICA Holding Corporation) — The subject permit authorizes the continued use and occupancy of the marina which consists of a bulkhead embayment with a small finger pier and boat ramp on the western end.

LICA Holding Corporation LICA Holding Corporation ZAC-20-3 A request that Plot No. 39A Street, Frederiksted, St. Croix be rezoned from R-4 (Residential-Medium Density) to B-3 (Business-Scattered) Proposed Use: A barber/ beauty shop, law office, retail and/or event rental space.

ZAC-20-4 A request that Plot No. 1AEA Estate Diamond, Queen Quarter, St. Croix be rezoned from R-2 (Residential-Low Density-One and Two Family) to B-3 (Business Scattered) Proposed Use: Car wash and convenience store

ZAJ-20-3 A request that Parcel No. 5-O Estate Pastory, No. 5 Cruz Bay Quarter, St. John, be rezoned from R-2 (Residential-Low Density-One and Two Family) to C (Commercial). Proposed Use: A warehouse building to be used for automotive mechanical repairs, equipment/ material storage, and two employee housing units

ZAJ-20-5 A request that Parcel No. 14 Remainder Estate Carolina, No. 1 Coral Bay Quarter, St. John, be rezoned from R-2 (Residential-Low Density-One and Two Family) to B-2 (Business-Secondary/Neighborhood). Proposed Use: An animal care center, kennels for dogs and cats (20 and 19, respectively), veterinarian’s office, classroom for outreach/trainings/meetings, one-bedroom employee housing unit, children’s playground and walking trail

Request for approval for disposition of real property by the Virgin Islands Port Authority to the Department of Planning and Natural Resources (Parcel Nos. E, F, and 163-B Sub Base No. 6 Southside Quarter, St. Thomas)
