The committee will receive testimony on the following:
The Family Assistance Program, Contracts, Meals on Wheels, Queen Louise Home and Herbert Grigg Home for the Aged, Juvenile Justice, Higher Achievement Wisdom and Knowledge (HAWK), Youth Rehabilitation Center (YRC), Medical Assistant Program (MAP), Residential Services, the Sea View Nursing Home, behavioral health care services, grants, other social welfare programs, disabilities and vocational rehabilitation programs, Head Start programs, foster care, the construction of the Aldersville Senior Center, and other issues relevant to the V.I. Department of Human Services.
Noon to 1 p.m. – LUNCH
1-3 p.m.
Committee members will continue receiving testimony from Acting Commissioner Blyden and her team.
3-5 p.m.
There will be a dialogue with local organizations that administer behavioral health programs that impact the community.
