Agenda

The committee has scheduled a meeting to receive testimony from the Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority (WAPA) and the Department of Planning and Natural Resources (DPNR).

Block I

10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The committee will receive testimony for the Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority relative to equipment and supplies shipped out of the territory to the British Virgin Islands after the 2017 hurricanes, status of compliance with the issuance of bills for a 30-day billing cycle as required by Act No. 8297, restructuring of executive administration leadership team and general overview of the Authority’s operation.

Lunch – 1-1:30 p.m.

Block II

1:30-4:30 p.m.

The committee will receive testimony on Virgin Islands Department of Planning and Natural Resources operations to include, but not limited to, the expenditure of funds, statistical data on permits granted and enforcement citations, as well as fees collected for FY 2021.
