Public Meeting on Disaster Recovery Grant

The territory’s approved Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Disaster Recovery Action Plan details how the U.S. Virgin Islands plans to spend $242,684,000 of the grant funds on eligible disaster recovery and rebuilding activities to address unmet needs in housing, infrastructure and economic revitalization over the next six years.

A proposed amendment adds details on how to spend an additional $779,217,000, for a total of $1.02 billion in grant funds. The proposed changes are available for public comment Sept. 17 through Oct. 16 (30 days). Now is your chance to comment on the proposed changes to the territory’s CDBG Disaster Recovery Action Plan with several options available.
