The Office of Senator Athneil ‘Bobby” Thomas will host the 2019 Milton M. Newton Summer Classic, a co-ed double elimination basketball tournament for youth ages 13-16. It is inviting the Virgin Islands community to come out and support V.I. youth and their efforts. The games will be held from Friday through Sunday and will feature teams from St. Croix, St. John and St. Thomas. A unity youth parade consisting of organizations, neighborhood clubs and teams will kick off the event at 4:30, Friday, Aug. 9., beginning at the former bus stop at the entrance to Bordeaux.
