The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) – Office for Civil Rights and Civil Liberties will host a listening session. The DHS is interested in hearing about the experiences of community members with disabilities and others during Hurricane Maria on St. Thomas. Hearing about these experiences will help the efforts of Homeland Security to improve preparedness, response and recovery in future disasters for all communities. During the May 16 meeting, the people will hear from DHS and FEMA officials. Anyone who wants to participate, please RSVP by May 11.
