Hebrew Congregation Celebrates Purim

Purim will be observed a day early at The Hebrew Congregation of St. Thomas with a wild and off-beat retelling of the Biblical story of Esther, using artfully re-written lyrics of Beatles songs. All are welcome to “A Magical Mystical Megillah: A Very Beatles Purim.” Costumes are welcome, and the service is raucous. The hour-plus observance in the sanctuary is followed with a magic and comedy show with Jungle Josh Weinstein, a costume parade, and pastry and drinks, at Lilienfeld Community House.
