Governor’s Summer Reading Challenge

The launch of the 11th Annual Governor’s Summer Reading Challenge in the St. Thomas-St. John District. Lt. Gov. Tregenza Roach will speak to students about the importance of literacy and will read an excerpt from his book, “The Lesson Box,” which is one of six book titles featured in the 2019 Reading Challenge. Other education officials and book authors are expected to attend. The annual reading competition challenges students in grades K-6 to read five or more books during the summer months.
