Solutions Resources for Communities and People (RCAP) will host a free workshop on Understanding a Solid Waste Management System. Solid Waste Management is vital for human health; improper management of discarded materials and waste is one of the most challenging tasks of modern society. The active participation of the public in the implementation of solutions is a key element to improve the efficiency of a SWM system, and to reduce the impact on public health reaching a level of efficiency that allows a sustainable operation.
