The Forum will present a Met Opera screening in HD of “Adriana Lecouvreur” starring soprano Anna Netrebko. Soprano Anna Netrebko takes on the title role of the real-life French actress who dazzled 18th-century audiences with her on-and offstage passion. Netrebko is joined by tenor Piotr Beczała as Maurizio, Adriana’s lover. The principal cast also features mezzo-soprano Anita Rachvelishvili and baritone Ambrogio Maestri. Gianandrea Noseda conducts this opera, which was composed by Francesco Cilea. The time line will be approximately 3 hours. Act I – 86 min., Intermission 15 min., Act II – 28 min. and Act III – 44 min. The Court Yard will open at 6 p.m. with small meals and desserts by Amalia Café. Tickets cost $20 for adults and $10 for teachers; there is no charge for students or children under 10 years old.
