The Forum presents the Russian film “Loveless.” Zhenya and Boris, going through a vicious divorce marked by resentment and frustration, embark on new lives that threaten the security of their 12-year-old son, Alyosha. After witnessing one of their fights, Alyosha disappears. Directed by Andrey Zvyagintsev and co-written with Oleg Negin, “Loveless” uses its riveting portrait of a family in crisis to offer thought-provoking commentary on modern life in Russia. It’s a Goldon Globe, Oscar and Academy Award nominee and winner of the Cesar and the Cannes Jury Prize. Tickets for May 10 cost $10 for adults, $5 for students.
