The Division of Coastal Zone Management (CZM) in conjunction with the Virgin Islands Marine Advisory Service (VIMAS) will lead a much-needed cleanup of downtown Charlotte Amalie. Volunteers are being asked to meet at 8 a.m. at My Brother’s Workshop Bakery with a refillable water bottle. From there, groups will be directed to different parts of town with the most debris in order to make the biggest impact on the streets of Charlotte Amalie.
They will be provided with cleaning supplies such as gloves, trash bags and water to drink, but they are asked to bring refillable water bottles and to use reef-safe sun protection. After the clean-up, My Brothers Workshop Bakery will provide lunch to all cleanup volunteers.
