Agricultural Meeting for Farmers

Commissioner-nominee Positive T. A. Nelson will host a V.I. Department of Agriculture meeting of farmers. Points of discussion will include services offered through the Department of Agriculture concerning farmers’ expectancy regarding leased property, delinquencies, overall compliance, securing livestock and the importance of providing and/or updating contact information. In addition, updates on drought and water conservation practices, farm management, Abattoir operations, water conservation, hurricane preparedness and other important topics will be covered.
