Two Arrested for Shoplifting from Kmart

Two men, a California native and a N.Y. native, were arrested Saturday by St. Thomas police and charged with grand larceny.
Kyle Francis Woods, 40, a California native now living in Estate Contant, and New Yorker Stephan Coleman are accused of shoplifting from K-Mart in the Tutu Park Mall area. According to police the two took items totaling more than $200 in value.
Woods was arrested at about 10:25 a.m. Satruday, and Coleman was arrested at 3:18 p.m. the same day. According to the reports, they entered the store at separate times on the same day, stole merchandise and placed the items in a backpack. Additionally they were observed leaving the store without paying for the items, police said.
Police said investigation also revealed that Woods hid some of the merchandise in his pants by taping them to his legs.
Bail for Woods and Coleman was set at $10,000 each and they were remanded to the Bureau of Corrections pending further court action.
