The Office of the Governor has approved a special program for Virgin Islands residents to enroll in Oaksterdam Cannabis Business Programs at a deep discount, supplemented by the funds allocated in Act 8679. Join a special webinar at 5 p.m., Monday, Sept. 18, to learn more about this opportunity.
Orientation and the first classes begin on Sept. 25. Live classes will meet through mid-November.
Business of Cannabis Live (Fast‑Track) meets virtually for live lectures twice a week for nine weeks on Mondays and Thursdays, 1 – 3:30 p.m. EST.
Horticulture Live (Fast Track) meets virtually for live lectures twice a week for nine weeks on Mondays and Thursdays, 5 – 7:30 p.m. EST.
Self-Paced Programs (Manufacturing and Extraction, Budtending, Horticulture, Business)
Oaksterdam University programs are ideal for legacy operators who must ensure regulatory compliance and industry best practices, which are vital if anyone is coming into compliance or planning to enter the legal cannabis industry. This is exclusively for full-time residents of the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Please have a photo ID ready (driver’s license, Voter ID, Senior Citizens ID, Veterans ID, non-driving ID, or utility bill) for address verification with Student Services. The individual must also use the same email address registered for the webinar to enroll in classes or be verified as a resident.
