The Division of Personnel will be conducting an election for all employees who are members of the Government’s Group Health Insurance plan and retirees of the Government of the Virgin Islands who are interested in serving on the GESC board. The Division of Personnel is now accepting applications for candidates.
Title 3, Chapter 1, Section 6(b) requires that two employees of the Government of the Virgin Islands (one from each district), be democratically chosen by other government employees to be appointed to the GESC Health Insurance Board. Title 3, Chapter 1, Section 6(b) further requires that two retirees of the Government of the Virgin Islands be appointed to the GESC Health Insurance Board.
The candidate application form for Employees/Retirees interested in serving on GESC Health Insurance Board can be found on the Division of Personnel’s website: www.dopusvi.org  homepage.
Complete and submit the application to Janice.freeman@dop.vi.gov in either district no later than Tuesday. Oct. 10.
