Summary: The Department of Public Works (DPW) has commenced work on the Water Island Local Road Repairs Project, it is currently at the 10 percent completion mark. DPW contractor — Grace Civil LLC. – will rehabilitate and reconstruct the following sites:
Site 1 – Flamingo Road
Site 2 – Overdown Road
Site 3 – Main Road and Honeymoon Beach Lane
Site 4 – Providence Hill Road
Site 5 – Parking Lot
This project also includes drainage improvements, roadway excavation and restoration of the sub-base layers in some areas, as well as traffic control.
