Drivers Urged to Take Caution During STX Beauty and the Beast Triathlon

The St. Croix Beauty and the Beast Triathlon will take place Sunday and the V.I. Police Department urges motorists to drive cautiously in the areas of the triathlon.

The St. Croix Beauty and the Beast Triathlon will take place starting at 7:00 a.m. from Cramer’s Park Beach and is set to conclude between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. Sunday.

The triathlon will start at Cramer’s Park for the swimming segment. The cycling segment will occur on Route 82 (East End Road), Route 60 (South Shore Road), Route 62 (South Side Road), and Route 624 (Sally’s Fancy Way). The running segment will utilize a portion of Route 82 (East End Road), from where Route 60 (South Shore Road) and Route 82 (East End Road) intersect eastward to Point Udall and end at Cramer’s Park. All roads and intersections will be controlled by the VIPD personnel and may be closed and open as needed to ensure the safety of the event participants.
