The Virgin Islands Children’s Museum is part of Blue Star Museums, a program offering free admission to active-duty military personnel and their families this summer from Armed Forces Day, May 21, through Labor Day, Sept. 5.
Children’s museums, art museums, history and science museums, zoos, nature centers and more are participating in the Blue Star Museums program in collaboration with the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star Families and the Department of Defense.

The free admission program is available for those currently serving in the United States Military: Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard as well as members of the Reserves, National Guard, U.S. Public Health Commissioned Corps, NOAA Commissioned Corps and up to five family members.
Qualified members must show a Geneva Convention Common Access Card (CAC), DD Form 1173 ID card (dependent ID), or a DD Form 1173-1 ID card for entrance into a participating Blue Star Museum.
The Virgin Islands Children’s Museum is located in Buccaneer Mall, Havensight, on St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands. The museum is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday, and from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Sunday. It is closed Mondays.
