DLCA Releases Latest Fuel Prices Based on March 29th Survey

The Department of Licensing and Consumer Affairs Commissioner Richard T. Evangelista notifies the public of the latest territory-wide fuel price survey that was conducted on Monday, March 29, on St. Croix, St. Thomas and St. John. Fuel surveys are designed to inform consumers of the most affordable fuel prices throughout the territory. Fuel surveys are included for comparative viewing and transparency.

On St. Croix, consumers can find self-service regular under $3.00 per gallon at the following seven fuel stations: Falcon Service Station, G Max Service Station, Gas for Less Service Station, Gateway Service Station, Moe’s Service Station,  Sam’s Service Station and Super Tank Service Station for $2.749 per gallon.

Consumers can find self-service premium under $3.00 per gallon at Welco Service Station for $2.899 per gallon. Coming in second for lowest price for self-service premium are Gas for Less Service Station, Gateway Service Station, Moe’s Service Station, Sam’s Service Station, Super Tank Service Station, One Love Service Station -Golden Rock and LaGrande Princesse at $2.999 per gallon. The lowest price for diesel were found at Falcon Service Station, Big A Service Station and Super Tank Service Station at $2.899 per gallon.

On St. Thomas, the lowest price for self-service regular can be found at Petrus French Town and Petrus Smith Bay for $3.299 per gallon.  The second-lowest self-service regular price at $3.319 per gallon was found at Puma Bovoni. Puma Bovoni also had the lowest price for self-service premium at $3.679 per gallon. The second-lowest for self-service premium were Petrus Smith Bay and Petrus French Town at $3.759 per gallon. The lowest price for diesel was $3.629 per gallon at Puma Tutu.

On St. John, the lowest self-service price for fuel is found at Racetrack at $3.49 per gallon for regular and $3.59 per gallon for premium. The lowest price for diesel is found at Race Track for $3.87 per gallon.
