A Crucian Christmas holiday celebration is the theme this year at Limetree Bay. As employees walked into work at the facility’s main administration building on Wednesday, they were greeted by quadrille dancer Patricia Canegata dressed in madras while Stanley and the Ten Sleepless Knights’ version of “Jingle Bells” played. They received individually wrapped butter cookies and admired the decorated lobby, where the stars of the show were an eight-foot moko jumbie statue, a breathtaking poinsettia wall and, of course, a Christmas tree decorated with poinsettias, complemented by tiny moko jumbies. The visionary behind the lobby’s design was Ms. Perez, and artist Evelyn Pena created the moko jumbie’s traditional clothing and brought the flower wall to life.
