Island Roads Corp. continues Mannassah Hill Road/Agnes Fancy to Catherineberg Rd. pavement rehabilitation, signage installation.

Project limits: Route 379 right-of-way starting from Pilgrims Terrace Bypass heading North to the Intersection of Mannassah Hill and Route 40

Road work will take place from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. from Oct. 22, 2020 through Jan. 6, 2021

Beginning Oct. 19 through Oct. 21, Island Roads Corporation will install temporary traffic controls (signage, traffic light systems and barricades). Mobilization and construction will begin on Oct. 22. The scope for this project includes roadway excavation, shoulder excavation and reconditioning, concrete pavement restoration, clearing and grubbing, pavement restoration, manhole adjustments and permanent signage.

The department is urging motorists and pedestrians to traverse with caution.

The estimated project cost is $817,050.
