DPW Continues Main Street Enhancement Project

The Department of Public Works continues Main Street Enhancement Project on St. Thomas

Summary: Island Roads poured 40 cubic yards of concrete on Raadets Gade this week. Installation of the blue bit stone sidewalk on the west side is 60 percent complete.

The gates on both kiosks located on Store Tvaer Gade have been installed. Island Roads is currently preparing the area in front of Cardow and Post Office Square for Brick Pavers. The blue bit stone sidewalk in the vicinity of Government Hill and Ideal Restaurant is also complete. The new project completion date is Dec. 7.

The estimated project cost is $14,625,004.
