Police Investigate Home Invasion in Bovoni

A residence in Estate Bovoni on St. Thomas was robbed in a home invasion Saturday evening, the V.I. Police Department reported.

At 8:49 p.m. Aug. 22, officers responded to a burglary call in Estate Bovoni. The owner of the residence told police his home was invaded by three Black males who allegedly entered the residence through the front door with firearms and threatened a resident at gunpoint.
The burglars removed cash from a bedroom and fled the residence, police said.

The suspects were described as being medium to dark complexion with a medium build, approximately 5 feet 4 inches to 5 feet 6 inches tall, all wearing black clothing and masks.

The VIPD urged anyone with information about this crime to call 911, the Criminal Investigation Bureau at 340-714-9801, or the anonymous tip service, Crime Stoppers USVI, at 1-800-222-8477 (1-800-222-TIPS).
