Home Burglary Reported in Anna’s Retreat

An unknown male entered a home Saturday evening and fled with cash and documents, the V.I. Police Department reported.

According to police, at 11:04 p.m. Saturday the 911 emergency call center dispatched officers to Anna’s Retreat regarding a residential burglary.

Investigation revealed that an unknown black male had entered the residence by entering though a sliding glass door. When the suspect realized that the residents were home, he fled through the same door in an unknown direction. The suspect took money and documents from the home.

Police urged anyone with information about the crime to call 911, the Criminal Investigation Bureau at -340-774-2211 extension 5608, or the anonymous tip service, Crime Stoppers USVI, at 1-800-222-8477.
