Alfredo Gordon Dies in Kentucky

Alfredo Gordon

Alfredo Gordon, also known as “Fredo,” died on Tuesday, March 3, in Louisville, Kentucky. He was 82 years old. He was born on Dec. 4,1937, on the beautiful island of Tortola, BVI, but resided on St. Thomas most of his life. He worked for the Water and Power Authority (WAPA) until 1982.

He is survived by his wife, Daisy Mae Gordon; brothers: Rex Brannigan and Simpson Brannigan; sisters: Carmena Turnbull and Sharon Venzen; sons: Devon Gordon and Alvin Rabsatt; daughters: Jennifer Gardner, Charlene Parker, Jacqueline Brotherson, Theresia Gordon and Tisha Gordon;

He is also survived by daughter-in-law, Anita Gordon; grandchildren: Devon J. Gordon, Ebony Gordon, Aquille Gordon, Jawahn Potter, Symoi Lennard, J’Nique Corbin, Tishanna Harris, Kamari Simon, Keanu Simon, Kianna Brotherson, Kiara Brotherson, Monee’ Gordon and Shakeem Gordon; and granddaughters-in-law: Maritza Potter and Lisa Gordon.

Other survivors include grandson-in-law, Davaris Corbin; great-grandchildren: Skyler Gordon, Cayden Gordon, Delaney Gordon, Marceline Potter, A’mayah Corbin, A’Aliyah Corbin, Madison Brechmore, Myah Harris, D’Kyta Brown, D’Nee Brown and D’Nell Brown; and many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.

The funeral was held on March 7 at Advantage Funeral Home Hardy Chapel in Louisville, Ky.
