The V.I. Police Department on Tuesday arrestedDanny J. Delerme, age 23 of Constitution Hill on St. Thomas, and charged him with possession of an unlicensed firearm and possession or sale of ammunition.
According to the police report, on Feb. 4 officers received an anonymous tip that Delerme was seen with a firearm inside of the Limetree Bay refinery. Contact was made with the refinery’s security personnel to advise them of the incident.
Officers later made contact with Delerme and confiscated his backpack.
